beautiful tuesday ...

This is how my Tuesday began ...

Let me explain... I had a marathon homework session last weekend/Monday evening and completely finished everything I needed to do for my Tuesday and Wednesday classes (SCORE!). So my Tuesday was set to be a 'get everything that needs to be done done' kind of day.

Then my wonderful roomie Kris discovered her morning class was cancelled ... which of course called for a trip to Cracker Barrel. Obviously.

So I got this bad boy ... and it was delicious. And then when I was done, I was miserable. So we decided to do what two completely rational people do after over-eating a delicious country-style breakfast.

We walked it off at Wal-Mart.While picking up contact solution for Kris and some winter clothes... for Louie.

Speaking of the Lou-Bean ... he needed a mani-pedi BAD. Like, real bad. His talons had reached an extremely dangerous length. We could have air-brushed a jungle scene on them, taken a picture of them, and sold the picture to the Salon at the mall - disclaimer ... I've never been there, so I don't know what kind of art they hang on the wall - but I can guess ...

Happily, he didn't try to give the ladies at Petco a little 'love-bite' this time. Success!

All in all, it was a wonderful day. Little Lou was ecstatic to get new winter clothes ... I'll have to post some pics later of him modeling his new duds.
